Bought this kit to replace the grips on my irons and putter. The kit has everything you need minus the solvent (easy to get). You'll need a bench vice or some other sturdy way of clamping club shafts.
The grip tape strips are not tacky when you remove the backings. This threw me for a moment but it all made sense when solvent is poured over - the adhesive gets activated into a slippery paste, not dissimilar to wallpapering. Then, no messing about! Slide that grip on completely in one smooth movement.
I started with my 3-iron (which I never use) and if you are organized re-gripping your clubs is an easy DIY job. There are plenty of YouTube vids to see the job being done.
